1.Thanks for= Thank you for, Thanks to

2.So that= So...that (such...that)

NO.1 Thanks for,Thanks to

thanks to:相当于because of …或 with the help of …

Thank to your help,we finished the work in time.

Thanks for your help.

thanks for = thank you for “为……

NO.2 So...that, Such...that, so that

so that与so…that的区别

1. so that 引导目的状语从句,意为“以便;为了”,相当于in order to/so as to.常放于句中,但是in order to常放于句首或句中,so as to常放于句末。

eg: Xiao Hua studies hard so that she can get a good grade in last examination.

My sister made a model plane so that she could help with her friend studying the science last night.

In order to watch the soccer game, I stayed up late last Saturday.

My mother often gets up early in order to make breakfast for me.

She buys a new dress so as to join Lisa's birthday party.

2. so…that…

eg: I am so tired that I want to sleep right now.

She is so beautiful that all boys want to make friends with her.

My sister is too young to go to school. =My sister is so young that she can't go to school.

so…that和such…that的用法区别

such…that作“如此… 与so…that

1) such+a(an)+adj.+单数可数名词+that…clause
He is such a clever boy that everybody likes him.
He was such an honest man that he was praised by the teacher.
2)such+adj.+复数可数名词+that…clause
They are such interesting novels that I want to read them once again.
3)such+adj.+不可数名词+that…clause
He has made such great progress that the teachers are pleased with him.

注意:如果such后边的名词前由many、much、few、little等词所修饰的话,则不用
such而用so。
例如:
He had so many falls that he was black and blue all over.
He had so little education that he was unfit for this job.
There were so many people in the street watching the fire that firefighters could not get close to the building.
